On Saturday, we had a Transformers birthday party for Tyler. He has suddenly become obsessed with Transformers, so he was very excited about the party. It was pretty low-key, but it was really fun. We sent the kids on a treasure hunt throughout the house and yard. Each clue led to a box full of treats and prizes, with the last box containing the Allsparks. They got party bags, party blowers, Transformers masks, the Allspark cubes, and a TON of candy! After that, we opened presents, sang Happy Birthday, and had cupcakes and ice cream.
Tyler got quite a few more Transformers to add to his collection, as well as some books and clothes from Grandma Shirley, cookbooks from Grandma Debra, and a chef set from Great Aunt Carol and Uncle Jim. Friday afternoon, a big package arrived from Great Aunt Diana and Uncle Dick, with birthday presents for both boys. They each got a VTech learning toy, and are absolutely in love with them! Tyler, again, kept thanking everyone for his birthday. Such fun!

It sounds like a great birthday! And the treasure hunt must have been pretty awesome with all of the spoils at the end. I am amazed. I am going to call on you when I have to start planning kids birthday parties!
