Growing Like a Weed!

Our little Addie is growing faster than we can believe! She is 5 1/2 months old now, and is definitely keeping us on our toes. She has two teeth on the bottom already, and loves to chew on everything that she can get her hands on. (Her new favorites things are her carseat straps and Twizzlers licorice.) She cut both teeth within just a few days, so it made for a tough week for all of us!

A few days ago, Addison finally figured out how to roll from her stomach to her back! She's been rolling to her stomach for a while now, but would get really frustrated that she couldn't get back onto her back. She is now rolling and scooting all over the living room. Time to get out the baby gate! She is almost able to sit up completely on her own, so we're excited for that, too.

Addison has had the chance to meet a few new friends this month, and play with a few old ones. It's so fun that everyone has been having babies! Addison hangs out with her friends Paislee, Kyle & Makayla a lot, and has gotten to go different places and play around on the floor with them. She got to meet two new friends, Westley and Xavier, who are in town to visit for a while, and hopefully will get a chance to play with them again before they leave. The funniest, though, was when she got to play with Colin. Apparently, Colin hates tummy time. Screams bloody murder when you put him on his tummy. That is, unless Addison in there with him. They laid there on the floor together (holding hands even!) for about 15 minutes. It was absolutely adorable. We love having so many kids around that are her age, and it's bound to just get more fun as she gets older!
