Easter was a lot of fun this year. It fell on the day after my grandpa's funeral, which made the day and the meaning of Easter very poignant for all of us. The night before, the Easter Bunny (aka, me) stayed up past midnight the night before getting everything all ready. The kids woke up to their Easter baskets that morning, and were so excited that they had gotten games and new sandals! That afternoon, we went down to my parents' house for our usual Easter egg hunt in the backyard. It was fun having Addison old enough to really get into it this year! After inspecting all the goodies from the eggs, we gathered around the table to color eggs. It was a nice, relaxing Easter spent with our family!
