First Day of Preschool!

Today was Tyler's first day of preschool! He's been excited about this day for weeks. We had to get up quite early, as his preschool is some distance away, and I was worried it would throw him off a little, but it didn't. The closer we got, the more excited he got. We went in, and he showed me where everything was, and was ready to just dive on in. I gave him a hug and a kiss, and told him I'd be back in a while, and to go play with the other kids. He looked at me, and said very matter-of-factly, "But Mom, you have to leave first." I suppose I was more hesitant about the whole thing than he was!

So I left him there, praying the whole time that he'd have a good day. Addison and I ran a few errands, and when I went back to pick Tyler up, he wasn't ready to leave! He talked to me the entire way home about everything he did, and then recounted it all to Zuke and his dad. He kept asking me if we're going back tomorrow, and I keep sadly having to tell him that we won't be going back until Wednesday. I am so proud of how he did, and am so happy/relieved/excited that he enjoys it so much!
