6 Month Stats

Our little Addison turned 6 months old on the 8th! Time flies by so amazingly fast, especially when you have little kids. I took her to the doctor on Tuesday for her checkup, and she is doing amazingly well. She weighs 16 lbs., 13.5 oz (68th percentile), and is 27 3/4 inches tall (97th percentile)! Such a change from the tiny little baby she used to be! She is rolling both ways now and starting to scoot and sit up on her own. She's been eating solid food for a while now, and absolutely loves it. I would dare say that she is probably the loudest one in the house now...always cooing, giggling, squealing, or blowing raspberries. She still just has the two bottom teeth, but is drooling like crazy, so we're expecting more any day now.

The one concern the doctor had was about this little bump that she's had on the right side of her head near her temple for some time now. He had originally said that it would most likely just get smaller and eventually disappear all together, but it actually seems to be growing with her head. He assumes that it's a cyst, but we need to go see a pediatric surgeon to be sure. We'll most likely have the bump removed sometime around the first of the year. We also made her an appointment with a neurologist up at Primary Children's Medical Center the end of October, to try and get a jump on the CMT.

Other than that, she is a happy, healthy baby. Right in line with where she should be developmentally. Addison still has the absolute sweetest smile, and it such a mellow baby. She has been such a blessing to our family the past six months, and we're looking forward to continuing to watch her grow!
