Happy 5th Birthday Addison!

Our sweet Addison turned 5 years old a couple days ago!  I can't believe it!  She had been counting down to this day for weeks, and was so excited to celebrate with everyone.  We started the day out with a few presents, mostly clothes.  Lucky for her (and us!) she loves getting new clothes!

  

Her birthday was on a preschool day, which she was really excited about.  She took mint brownies for her class, and got a birthday crown and a new book.  That evening, we had the whole family over for pizza and a party.  She had wanted a "Brave" birthday party...but none of the stores I looked at had anything in that theme, so we went for a Tinkerbell theme instead, and she was really happy.

After pizza, we let her open her presents.  She got some giant art paper and markers to use with her easel, some new underwear, a "Princess & The Pop Star" Barbie, and a pink microphone with a microphone stand.  We had saved one last present from us for that evening to be opened with everyone.....a new Rapunzel shirt and tickets to see Disney On Ice!  Honestly, it wasn't the reaction we were hoping for...she seemed more excited about the shirt!  Oh well, she enjoyed the tickets the next day (more on that in another post).  We lit the candles on her cake, sang happy birthday, and then ate cake and ice cream.  It was such a fun day for her and for us!

Addison has grown into such a fun girl!  She sure tests our patience at times, but she's my little buddy. She loves to go anywhere that I go, especially if it involves shopping. She is learning so much at preschool, and can't wait to start kindergarten in the fall.  Addison is such a good big sister to Alexis, and is so good to help her out and include her in what she's doing.  She is smart, sweet, spunky, and sassy....and we wouldn't have her any other way!  Happy Birthday, Addison!
