Girl's Night Out!

Back in January, I randomly decided one night that I needed a night out, and I figured that I would invite a bunch of my friends from high school to come as well.  The first time we went out was SO much fun!  We had a yummy dinner together at Goodwood, and then stopped at The Sweet Tooth Fairy for some dessert.  Then, we went back to Becky's house for craft night.  Her husband does woodworking, and had cut out some "X's & O's" for us to paint.  It was so much fun to hang out and chat, and I loved how everyone's crafts turned out so differently!

We had girl's night out again last night, and it definitely rivaled the first one! We went out on a Wednesday night instead of a weekend this time because Annalee happened to be in town this week, and we wanted her to join in on our fun.  We met up for dinner at Mimi's Cafe, and then decided to head over to this place called The Chocolate.  Oh my goodness, this may have been the best decision we've ever made!  The Chocolate is this bakery that is inside this old, big house.  The bakery only takes up a small part of the house, and then all of the other rooms in the house have tables, chairs, and couches so people can just hang out and eat.  It was the perfect spot for us!  We ordered a bunch of cakes and brownies, and found a little room upstairs that we had all to ourselves.  We ate, chatted, debated, and laughed until we couldn't breathe.  We stayed until they closed, and then spend almost another hour chatting in the parking lot.  It was such a perfect night!  I love that even after we've been out of high school for so long, we can still all hang out and laugh our butts off together!

That sounds so fun, there is nothing like getting together with the girls. And I know the guy that owns The Chocolate, we used to be in the same single's ward and hang out on occasion. I have never been there but I've heard it is good, maybe Matt and I will have to try it out one of these days. Glad to hear you are doing well!
