Zuke and Melissa: Christmas Day

We had an amazing Christmas Day this year! Shockingly, our kids didn't wake up until almost 8:00! We had planned on going to church at 9 am that morning, but that didn't happen. We had a good time opening presents with the kids, and they seemed pretty excited with everything they got. Alexis was so cute....every time we'd hand her a present, she'd start bouncing and squealing in excitement! She didn't quite get the hang of actually opening the presents, but took her time inspecting every one once it was open. After presents were opened, we headed down to my parents' house (still all in pajamas, by the way) for our traditional Christmas breakfast of German Pancakes. Yum! We then got to come home and take some naps before it was time to go pick up Tyler from his dad's house.

Once Tyler got back, we let him open up his presents. Gosh, his excitement is fun! He was very happy with what he got from us and from Santa. We then loaded back up to go back to my parents' house. We had sandwiches with the leftover ham from the night before, and snacked on all the treats waiting for everyone to get there. Once everyone was there, we headed downstairs to open our family gifts. It was a really good time, and an amazing Christmas!
