On November 5, 2011 Tyler was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! We are so proud of him! The day was very snowy and cold, but it was beautiful nonetheless. Tyler was baptized in Sandy in his dad's ward, by his dad. The program was really nice. The mom of the other boy getting baptized gave a talk on baptism, which was really good. Then both boys (Tyler and another boy in the ward) were baptized by their dads. Once they got all dried off and changed, Tyler was confirmed a member of the Church by his dad. After the confirmations, my mom gave a talk on the Gift of the Holy Ghost. It was such a special day for Tyler, and he was just beaming with excitement! I am so proud of him for making the choice and commitment to be baptized!
The next night, we had a family dinner for him at my parent's house. Tyler got to choose what we ate, and afterwards we presented him with his very own scriptures and scripture case. It's hard to believe that my little boy has grown up so quickly! I am so proud of him and of the great kid that he has grown up to be!
