The plan this year was to get the house all decorated the day after Thanksgiving, but since I had been up shopping most of the night, that just didn't happen. We were able to get the tree up with the lights on it, plus all the other household decorations up on Saturday, but hadn't had a chance to decorate the tree yet. The kids were really anxious to do that, so when I got home from choir practice on Sunday, they had all the ornaments out ready to decorate!

So this year, the creative/crafty bug hit me hard. I suddenly really wanted to make some crafty decorations for Christmas. (I blame Pinterest!) The wreath below I made with my sister, Whitney. It was really easy, but took about 3 hours. I also discovered a store called the Wood Connection, that has a ton of wood projects that you can finish yourself. I have a bunch of Christmas projects from there that hopefully I can get finished sometime before Christmas gets here.
