That's From Me Too!

So, a belated Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!

We celebrated a day early, so that all three kids could be a part of it, and I had a blast! Tyler and Kaiden made me a "Man's Stuff" toolbox which now holds all my oft-used tools and sits on my work bench next to my other tool box. It has both of their hand prints on it and the phrase "Man Stuff" on the back (which Tyler has learned means "something cool that Zuke does, and Mommy won't").

Addison gave me a nice picture holder with the word "Sweetheart" in metal stencil on the front. On it were some of my favorite pictures of her. She's a little full of herself, but I love it!

Sunday morning, Tyler was with his dad (as all kids should be on Father's Day), so Kaiden woke me on his own; Melissa helped him up onto my side of the bed, he gave me a hug, and yelled "HAPPY FATHERS DAY" at me. We went to my in-laws for a BBQ later that night where my mother-in-law gave me a chicken-shaped cookie jar (you'd have to see my kitchen to understand).

Kaiden: "Daddy . . . whas dat?"
Me: "It's a chicken, see? Isn't it cool?"
Kaiden: "Yeah! Cool chicken! . . . . Dats from me too!"

My son, the one who claims the coolest gift is from him. ALREADY! Jeez.
