My Baby Is 2!

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe that this day is here!  My baby girl is 2!  I know every mom must say this, but I swear that it was just yesterday that our sweet Alexis came into this world.  Time really does go by so fast!

We decided to have a My Little Pony party for Alexis, since she's really following in Addison's obsession with them.  We had the whole family over for cupcakes, ice cream, and presents!  Alexis was so funny....she finally understands what presents are, and would rip through one, take a quick glance at it, then move on to the next one.  She wasn't too sure about blowing out her candles, but was more than happy to devour a cupcake or two.  It was a great party!

Alexis is such a fun kid!  I remember when she was born, thinking that she would be the serious, quiet one.  I am happy to report that I couldn't have been more wrong!  Alexis is such a cuddly girl, and always loves to give and receive kisses and hugs.  She is a huge goofball, and has nearly perfect comedic timing!  She loves to dance and sing, and her and Addison will put on little concerts for me all the time.  She can count to 10 now, and is making progress on singing her ABC's.  Alexis will eat just about anything, as long as she's in the mood.  Some of her favorites are broccoli, green beans, bananas, watermelon, strawberries, salad, rice, wheat thins, and anything chocolate.  She loves playing with her cousin, Lila.  They are best friends!  She is my little buddy, and is always "ready to go" whenever I need to run an errand.  I love that she still loves to snuggle with me, and she'd be perfectly content if I sat and read books with her all day.  She is growing up so fast, and I couldn't be happier with the girl that she's become!
