My Little Pony Party

Well, we decided to be brave and throw Addison a little birthday party with her friends this year.  This was all she could talk about for months!!  She decided that she wanted a My Little Pony theme, and stuck to that!  I tried researching parties with that theme....and got nothing.  So, I was on my own.  I threw a ton of different ideas around, and I think the end result was absolutely perfect for a group of 6 4-year olds!

We started out by having the girls paint their own "cutie marks", so we provided some wooden hearts and lots of pink and purple paint.

After that, we played "Pin the Cutie Mark on the Pony".  My brother drew an AWESOME pony on a posterboard, and we blindfolded all the girls and handed them their cutie marks.

After that, we opened presents and had cupcakes and lemonade.

When the girls were done with their cupcakes, we gave them all some pony coloring books and let them color while we watched a My Little Pony movie. All in all, everything went so much smoother than I imagined it would!  All the girls had such a fun time, especially Addison!
