Yesterday we took the kids (and Kelly & Whitney) up to Hogle Zoo. We hadn't been for a couple years, so the kids were all very excited. Also, this year they had a bunch of animatronic dinosaurs all throughout the zoo, which made it so much more fun! The weather was beautiful, and it surprisingly wasn't too crowded, either. Addison absolutely LOVED the baby elephant! We got to watch it get a mud bath and play with it's mother for a while. It was especially fun for her to see the animals because she was too little to recognize them the last time we were there. The boys loved all the dinosaurs! Tyler could name every single one of them, and they kept running around like the dinosaurs all day. It was such a good day!
There were a lot of children who were absolutely terrified of the
dinosaurs, but not our children!
Kaiden was so unbelievably scared of this elephant! It took a ton of
coaxing to get him to stand by it, and he bolted as soon as the picture was taken.

It took some convincing to get Addison to go on the carousel....
she didn't decide she wanted to go until right before it started turning.

We went to the zoo earlier this summer too, and Will loved the dinosaurs, they were actually pretty cool.
By the way, I love your new family photos, they turned out great! Where did you get them taken?
Thanks! We had them done at Fotofly in Draper. I couldn't say enough amazing things about them. :)
