Payson Lake

As we do every year, we went and spent some time up Payson Canyon with my parents while they were camping up there.  This year, Addison got to spend the night up there with the boys, while Alexis and I stayed home.  Addison was so excited!  I was a little bit nervous about how she would do, but she was amazing!  The kids had a lot of fun playing and exploring, and of course, getting dirty!


Alexis and I joined the rest of the family the next morning just before lunch.  We hung out for a bit, had some lunch, and then headed down to the lake.  Alexis and I spent most of our time lounging on a blanket in the shade while the kids played in the lake and took rides in the boat.  Before heading up the canyon, I had bought some long bubble wands for the kids to play with at the beach.  BEST. IDEA. EVER!  Those bubbles kept the kids entertained for a while once they got tired of playing in the water. We eventually got all cleaned up and headed back up to the trailer for dinner and s'mores.  The weather was perfect, the kids had fun and were well-behaved....I'd say it was a success!
