Whitney's Wedding

Whitney and Kelly's wedding celebration (officially) began on Friday August 13th with a wedding dinner at Carrabba's. The menu consisted of a selection of different spaghetti's, and some of the yummiest bread I've ever eaten. It was delicious! After dinner, we showed the wedding video that I had made for Whitney and Kelly, and got to eat the DELICIOUS chocolate groom's cake for dessert. It was a really nice evening, and a good start to all of the fun (work, actually) that the rest of the night and next day would bring.

The happy couple!

The wedding day was absolutely beautiful! I had been up late the night before finishing Whitney's flowers, so having to have everyone ready to be at the Mt. Timpanogos Temply by 8:30 that morning was a bit of a challenge. We hurried and left the kids with Whitney's friends, and made it to the sealing room just in time. The sealing was absolutely beautiful! Afterwards, we took some photos outside the temple, and then got to work. The afternoon, for me, was spent at the reception location getting everything in place and finishing up the flowers. Whitney and Kelly had their reception at "The Barn" in Mapleton. Their colors were lime green and brown, and they had a rustic decor theme. It all looked amazing, in my opinion, and I wish we'd had more time to get some pictures of it all. I had just enough time to run home, change clothes, and grab the rest of the family to be back for pictures. After pictures, they had a short ring ceremony on the north side of the barn, performed by Kelly's grandpa. It was really nice, despite the temps being in the high 80's. The reception went off without a hitch, and we got so many nice compliments on all of the details that we'd spent months planning. We sent Whitney and Kelly off on their honeymoon to Key West with an aisle of sparklers, which was really fun. The whole day was absolutely beautiful, and we couldn't have asked for anything to have gone any better. Congrats Whitney and Kelly!
