It is so hard for me to believe that my baby girl turns two today. I can still remember so vividly the day she was born, and what it was like to hold her and experience her as a newborn. There are times when I miss that tiny baby who didn't throw tantrums, throw her food all over the floor, and scream like a banshee at the drop of a hat.....but I wouldn't trade her now for anything!
Addison is constantly talking up a storm! It seems that she picks up everything anybody says, and then begins repeating it like a parrot. Her favorite phrase at the moment is, "Oh.....my.....gosh!" She absolutely adores her big brothers, and follows them around constantly. She loves doing anything that her brothers do, and yet she is all girl. I think I've had to fork over at least half of my necklaces and bracelets to her, as she always wants to be "pretty". She loves clothes, especially dresses and shoes, and we probably change the bow in her hair at least 10 times a day. Lately, Addison has been a mommy's girl (which I have to admit, I totally love), but I absolutely adore the relationship she has with her daddy. Her kisses and her hugs are so sweet, and the way she cares and gives her love freely to everyone astounds me. I hope she never loses that.
We had a birthday party for Addison on Saturday. When Tyler asked her a few weeks ago what kind of party she wanted, she was very adamant that she wanted a ladybug party. So, a ladybug party is what she got! We kept it really simple, since she's just 2, but it was fun. We gave all the kids ladybug hats, and then had them decorate their own flower pots with ladybug & flower stickers to plant a flower in. We did presents, and then cake & ice cream, and then just let the kids run wild. Addison had a blast, and it was fun to see her having such a good time.

I can't believe she is two, they grow up too fast! She is a doll and I love all of the details you added about the things she is doing, she sounds like quite the fun, little lady! I love the flower pot idea for her party, you are so creative! Happy birthday Miss Addison!
