The Darndest Things

Here are a couple of excerpts from some "deep" conversations we had with Kaiden this weekend:

THURSDAY NIGHT
Zuke: Did you know that Grandma Debra bought a pickup truck?
Kaiden: She did? What kind?
Zuke: It's a Chevy.
Kaiden: A Chevy?!?! Ewww.

FRIDAY MORNING
Kaiden: Melissa, do you know how Mommy gets the boogers out of my nose?
Me: No, I don't. How does she get the boogers out of your nose?
Kaiden: With her toenails.
Me: With her toenails?!
Kaiden: Yeah. Cuz her toenails are really long.
Me: Hmmm....
Kaiden: Her toenails are REALLY long, and she puts them all the way up my nose to get the boogers. And she doesn't even use a tissue!

SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Me: So, Kaiden, Daddy says that you don't like Chevy trucks.
Kaiden: Yeah. Chevy trucks aren't very good.
Me: Are Ford trucks better?
Kaiden: Yeah! Ford trucks are a lot better!
Me: Did you know that Grandpa Bob has a big red Ford truck?
Kaiden: Yeah, he let me ride in it! His Ford truck is cool!
Me: Yeah, it is pretty cool. Do you know anyone with a Chevy truck?
Kaiden: Eli has a Chevy truck.
Me: So does that mean Eli's truck isn't very good.
Kaiden: His truck isn't very good, but Grandpa's truck is cool.

*For the record, Eli does not have a Chevy.
