Fiesta Days!

Being a native of Spanish Fork, celebrating Fiesta Days on the 24th of July every year is a must! This year, we were lucky enough to have all 3 kids with us the entire weekend. We got up early the morning of the 24th to go see the parade. We got wonderful shaded seats right on Main Street with my parents. It was a little difficult to keep the boys contained in all their excitement, but we all had a good time.

After the parade, we went down to my parent's house for a barbecue. We ate lunch, played lasso golf, ran through the sprinklers, and just relaxed. The boys were pretty worn out by this point, so we took them home for a nap.

After naps and dinner, Zuke, the boys and I headed down to the fairgrounds for the rodeo. Thanks to my mom, we had front row seats right above the chutes. The boys were a little wary of how close to the edge we were, until the rodeo started. They absolutely loved every aspect of the rodeo....the cowboys, the mutton bustin', the bulls, and especially the motorcycle-riding rodeo clown. They both wore cowboy hats to the rodeo, and were constantly yelling, "Yee-haw!" On the way out to the car, we got to see all of the huge fireworks that were being shot off from the ballpark. It was a long and exhausting day, but it was sure fun!
