Our little sweetheart, Addison Mei Arakaki, was born Saturday March 8 at 8:54 am. She was 7 pounds 5 ounces, and 21 inches long. Melissa went into labor Friday night, but thanks to an amazing epidural, made it through the next 13 hours quite easily. After just 3 pushes, our baby "flew out like a cannon ball" (according to Zuke). She had the cord wrapped around her neck, but the doctor took care of that very quickly, so it wasn't a big worry.
Being home with her is wonderful! She is a very good baby, and only cries when she's hungry. She has these beautiful, huge eyes that just melt your heart. She is starting to smile already, and is most definitely a daddy's girl. We love her so much, and are so excited that she's finally here!
