Ok, finally, one month later, I'm getting around to posting about our wedding. I had started this enormously long post about it, including every single detail of the entire weekend, and then decided last night to junk it. I figure that the important details and the pictures is what everyone really wants, right?
Zuke and I got married December 29th at the London Bridge Resort in Lake Havasu, Arizona. I don't think we could have asked for a more beautiful, perfect day! Everything turned out SO much better than Zuke or I could have planned. With all the drama we had the day before the wedding (flowers we ordered ending up in Oregon, the bakery getting the date for the cake wrong, the caterer at the resort forgetting about the wedding, etc.), I must admit that I was a bit surprised that it all came together so well.
Here are some of our favorite pictures, with captions that will tell more of the story:

These were our table settings. We got a crash course on how to fold the napkins all pretty the night before......it was entertaining, to say the least. We had a lot of roses on every table, due to buying more roses when our previously ordered ones didn't show up, and then having them show up about an hour and a half before the wedding. I think the end result was beautiful!

Our beautiful (and surprisingly very yummy) cakes from Sam's Club. They turned out much better than we expected them to!

I decided to have Tyler walk me down the aisle. When he came into the room and saw me, he stopped dead in his tracks and said, "Mommy! You're a beautiful princess!" Then when we got to the end of the aisle, he turned to everyone and said, "Look everybody! It's Princess Mommy!" It was so precious. Oh, and thanks to Bryan, I got to walk down the aisle to a rock guitar rift of "Here Comes the Bride". A little shocking, but it was hilarious!

We decided to have Zuke's Uncle Dick marry us. The ceremony that he prepared was absolutely beautiful! Lots of wise words and advice. I bawled through my vows, and Zuke doesn't even remember saying his!

Everytime Tyler was in a picture, he'd get so excited once the picture was taken. He'd jump up and down yelling, "I did it! I took the picture!"

Finally, after running around all morning and getting married.....we got to sit down!

Peek-a-boo!

Seriously....this could be a Pepsi ad!

Tyler actually sitting still for more than 30 seconds!

Cutting the cake!

Zuke feeding me cake. We both had agreed not to smash it in each other's face.

Me feeding cake to Zuke.

Tyler definitely enjoyed his cake.

Can you see the crazy boy in my dress? Tyler got this crazy idea that it would be funny to wrap up in my dress.....it was pretty funny. I didn't realize how much fabric I had on my dress!

Oh, I am glad to see that you have posted pics from the wedding, sorry again that we missed it, sounds like it absolutely lovely!
I had no idea that there were so many problems, the flowers, the cake, etc... I bet you were in tears or at least on the verge, that would have made me nuts! But it sounds like it all worked out nicely and it looked completely beautiful, and I guess that is all the matters in the end.
I love the pictures of the family, I am sure that you will really cherish those forever.
Tyler is such a cutie! I love the Mommy Princess story, that is completely adorable! What a fun, little boy he is!
YAY for pics. This makes me want to go back down. We really enjoyed that weekend :D
